Haren Construction Company has exciting opportunities in multiple locations of the southeastern region of the US for upcoming graduates interested in full-time employment in the construction industry as an Assistant Field Operations Manager.

Company Overview:
Haren Construction Company, Inc. specializes in water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, commercial and industrial types of construction.

Job Summary:
Assistant Field Managers will be tasked with assisting the Superintendents to ensure, equipment, and materials are available, administrative tasks are efficiently performed, safety regulations are properly followed, and project reviews are completed in a timely manner. Candidates should be recent college graduates with the ability to work and communicate well within the team.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assists Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent in administrative, compliance, procurement, building, and tracking responsibilities, as assigned
  • Coordinates submittals with contract documents.
  • Reviews submittals and expedites materials
  • Monitors production rates and schedules
  • Supervises subcontractors & HCC Crew by monitoring work performance, progress, and productivity
  • Follows company policies and procedures and assists with OSHA compliance and on-site safety enforcement
  • Mentor and train assistant field managers and co-op/intern students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree or higher in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Great time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Advanced understanding of construction processes, principles, materials, and tools.
  • Prior construction internships and/or work experiences strongly preferred
